Feather meal is a high-grade animal protein. The protein content of feather meal produced from duck and goose feather scraps is generally as high as 80%. The raw materials of feather meal are widely available. It can be made of duck and goose feather tubes, coarse feather pieces, miscellaneous feathers and other scraps after down processing, chicken feathers and other miscellaneous feathers of poultry and livestock, and hoof shells, blood, horn bones and other mixed materials of poultry and livestock slaughtered in slaughterhouses.
The production of feather meal is to process clean and unspoiled feathers after slaughtering livestock and poultry through high temperature and high pressure steaming and hydrolysis. It does not contain additives or growth promoters, and the crude protein content is not less than 75%.
The feather meal equipment destroys the keratin structure of poultry feathers through strong shearing, high temperature and high pressure hydrolysis conditions, turning it from slaughter waste into protein feed that can be absorbed by poultry and livestock.
The feather powder processing equipment is composed of the following single machine components: crusher, hydrolysis tank, buffer silo, feather water separator, feather squeezer, feather feeder, screw conveyor, steam dryer, rotary cooling screen, quantitative packaging machine, belt conveyor feeder, exhaust gas condensation deodorization system, and electric control cabinet.
