Animal Fat Refining Tank

During the production process of animal fats, their characteristics determine that the temperature should rise quickly and the water in the oil should be separated quickly. Minimize the contact time with water or air as much as possible to avoid emulsification or protein deterioration of the oil.

Principle:

Animal fat refining tank and harmless treatment equipment for slaughterhouse waste (hereinafter referred to as harmless treatment equipment) is to effectively sterilize organic waste through high temperature and high pressure, melt the fat in the animal carcass by low temperature smelting, and then remove the oil from the oil residue through the meat and bone meal oil press, so as to achieve the purpose of complete recycling and efficient utilization of waste.

In the process of crude extraction of animal fat, if it is handled properly, the obtained fat product can be used without further treatment. However, in production practice, due to a series of reasons such as long storage time, the acid value of the obtained product is too high or there are impurities such as collagen. Therefore, these animal fats need further refining when they are eaten.

Process description:

Degumming: The purpose of degumming is to remove colloidal impurities in crude oil, mainly some proteins, phospholipids and mucous substances. The main method currently used is hydration degumming.

Decolorization: The purpose of decolorization is to remove the pigment components in the oil. Decolorization adopts adsorption decolorization method, which is completed by adding activated white clay. A small amount of activated carbon can also be added. They can adsorb pigments and certain oil degradation products.

Deacidification and deodorization: Because the acid value of animal fat is too high after boiling, it does not meet the edible animal fat hygiene standards. The earthy smell produced by adding activated white clay in decolorization requires deacidification and deodorization.

Process flow:

Crude oil → hydration degumming (or dry degumming) → drying → decolorization → filtration → deoxygenation → heat exchange → heating → physical deacidification and deodorization → heat exchange → cooling → finished oil

Advantages (the smelting stage of this process is carried out in a closed vacuum state)

First, the vacuum negative pressure prevents the oxidation of oil in contact with air at high temperature;

Second, during the smelting process, the water is directly pulled out by the vacuum system, avoiding the generation of a large amount of water vapor and odor in the workshop;

Third, the entire process does not generate wastewater and waste gas, and the workshop is clean and environmentally friendly;

Fourth, the final product is bright in color, strong in fragrance, and free of water impurities;

Fifth, this process has automatic feeding, simple operation, low labor intensity, and labor saving;
