Precautions for using spray dryer

The working principle of the spray drying equipment is that the air enters the air distributor at the top of the drying tower through the filter and heater, and then enters the drying chamber in a spiral shape. The material liquid is pumped from the material liquid tank through a filter to the centrifugal atomizer at the top of the drying tower, causing the material liquid to spray into tiny mist like droplets. The material liquid comes into contact with hot air in parallel, and the water quickly evaporates, drying into finished products in a very short time. The finished product is discharged from the bottom of the drying tower and the cyclone separator, and the waste gas is discharged from the fan.

Precautions for use of spray dryer:

1. During the closed operation of the spray dryer, when spraying organic solvents (such as ethanol, xylene, etc.), the oxygen concentration must be controlled below 5% (the oxygen concentration can reach the required value by re introducing N2 or restarting), otherwise the organic solvents may be burned and exploded.

2. When the spray dryer is running, do not touch the rotating parts (atomizer, atomization plate, belt, motor fan blade).

3. The surface temperature of the spray dryer is relatively high during operation or after shutdown for a period of time. Please do not touch the bag filter, cyclone separator, air duct, atomizer, exhaust fan, observation window and other parts with your hands.

4. When the temperature of the drying tower of the spray dryer does not drop to normal temperature, please do not enter the tower.

5. When opening and closing the door of the spray dryer for inspection and when disassembling the air duct, cyclone separator and atomizer, the hands and fingers are caught.

6. When the oxygen concentration does not reach 21%, it is forbidden to open and check the door of the spray dryer; Otherwise, it may cause hypoxia and suffocation for the operator.

7. When operating a refrigerator, circulating water must be turned on.

8. Before starting the spray dryer each time, the two oil filling ports of the atomizer must be filled with oil.
